My husband and I will absolutely never return to the Racine Sportsman's or any other Sportsman store. While my husband was completing the background check, I walked over by him after shopping next door and was met with the most disrespectful and entitled sales person I have ever met. My husband misread one of the questions and I explained to him what it was saying. At this point, Connor made a strange illegal alien joke then almost immediately turned and snapped at me for talking to my husband while he was answering the questions (I was explaining what the question said since he misread it out loud) he then said "and if you say anything else, I WILL cancel your sale". It's fine if that's against rules to talk during this - I totally get that but he absolutely did not have to yell at me and he had no problem chit-chatting with my husband about things while he was trying to complete the questionnaire. There was no reason to yell at me and go on and on about how he has the power to cancel the sale. If this wasn't one of my husband's birthday presents, we would have walked out of there without purchasing the rifle and taken our business to literally anywhere else. Sportsman's managemen

Three days ago, on Father’s Day, my wife surprised me by buying me a firearm. We completed the application, and after waiting 2–3 days for approval, I called on June 24 to check the status. I was told I had been approved and could come pick it up. I asked what time they closed, and they told me 8:00 PM. I explained that my son had training, but I would be there before closing. I drove all the way from Kenosha to the Racine store and walked in at 7:30–7:31 PM, a full 30 minutes before closing. As soon as I got to the firearm counter, the employee looked irritated that I was even there. Before asking me anything, he got on the radio and asked his supervisor if his register was still open. The supervisor responded that the register had already been closed. I couldn’t believe it. There were still 30 minutes left before the store closed, and they knew I was coming because I had just called. The employee offered no apology and showed no interest in helping. I asked if I could speak with the supervisor, Jeff, and was told he was “too busy.” Looking around, there were only one or two customers in the entire store, yet Jeff never came out to speak with me. As I walked out, I was met by

I am writing this review partially because a single employee named John might be the only one to handle this situation respectfully and professionally, from my perspective. To begin, my intention was to sign up for a Sportsman Warehouse Credit Card. I had signed up for the card with another representative prior to my check out - then had gone to get the background check done. That part took 2-5 minutes, with a clear check. Then - one representative helped two military customers and was chatting with them. That's fine, I understand it, but there were several other employees chatting and not helping me out. I stood around for an hr-hr 15 before I had told them I would take my ID back and walk, as I had to get to work. The representative who was chatting didn't have any ill will, and I appreciate his socialization, but I had gotten no recognition at this point. I'm not a super confrontational person so it takes me a bit to speak up, but at that point I was eager to go and disgruntled. They still continued on with a sales pitch for their "gun cleaning services". I shut that down quick. The cherry on top was them not even adding the $50 off of the handgun to begin with and just runn

Worst experience so far with gun purchase. Made a purchase on Black Friday because of a good deal. Had to get shipped to my state to local FFL. Going on three weeks later and still no tracking to give me. The customer service so far has been ok but can’t do anything to help because they use 3rd party for shipping. They keep offering a small 10% discount code but truly I don’t think I will be purchasing anything from this company again. Until I receive a tracking number and finally get to go through the wait process of my current state and receive my firearm I don’t believe there is anything they can do to resolve this.

Awesome Assortment of supplies, Staff is friendly and Helpful. Management is Respectful and Knowledgeable, every time I go into Sportsman’s Warehouse the employees have a smile on their face and never hesitate to help me out. The gun and ammo selection is Second to none in the area and the employees behind the counter mounted my scope, bore sighted it and added a bipod, Highly recommended stopping in for outdoor/ sporting needs!
